The popular CDGA Social Competitions are set to return for 2025, offering members of all skill levels an engaging and welcoming on-course experience. These casually-competitive events continue to feature a diverse range of formats, including four-person teams, two-person teams, net events and more. A total of 40 affairs will be held from May through October, spanning a combination of familiar courses and exciting new venues.
Two series will kick off theslate this May, beginning with a CDGA KemperSports Two-Person Scramble Championship presented by Callaway qualifier at The Glen Club on May 6. It will be followed by six more qualifiers, culminating in the championship in September at Harborside International Golf Center. The CDGA Net Series presented by Tito’s Handmade Vodka begins on May 19 at Rolling Green Country Club, with the finale teeing off at Kemper Lakes Golf Club in October. Members can earn a spot in the championship via four qualifying events.
Presented by Jersey Mike’s, CDGA members can enter as a team of four and compete in the CDGA Four-Person Scramble Championship. Bowes Creek Country Club again holds the title as championship host this September, with members having six opportunities throughout the summer to qualify.
Returning for a fifth year, the CDGA Tour Edge Trifecta Series features Senior, Super Senior and Women’s divisions with three qualifiers each - all with a different format - available for members to participate in before the championship in September at Arrowhead Golf Club.
The second year of the CDGA VGA Two-Person Veterans Cup Series is available for CDGA members who are veterans or active duty military. The series offers those who have served our country a platform to showcase their skills, camaraderie and competitive spirit at four qualifiers throughout 2025, all leading up to the championship in October at Cantigny Golf in Wheaton.
In addition to the various series, there are also an array of single-day opportunities. Members can team up with a family member and compete in the 3rd CDGA Family Stableford Championship hosted at Prairie Landing Golf Club. The 13th CDGA Super Senior Championship presented by Tour Edge will be played at Oak Brook Golf Club, while the 54th CDGA Mixed Championship presented by Zero Friction will be contested at La Grange Country Club in September.
Lastly, members have numerous opportunities to play at private country clubs during CDGA Member Days presented by Tour Edge. In 2025, Point O’Woods Golf & Country Club, The Club at Strawberry Creek, Flossmoor Golf Club and Lost Dunes are the four courses for these non-competitive events.
