A premier benefit for more than two decades, the CDGA’s catalog of member trips continues to expand year after year. Now, in 2025, members have access to a plethora of the top golf resorts in the Midwest, a seven-night jaunt to Northwest Ireland, a bucket-list trip for any golfer to Pebble Beach and more - many of which are still to come this summer.
The year began with a bang when 60 CDGA members enjoyed a sold-out, four-day trip to one of golf's greatest destinations in Pebble Beach Resorts. The group experienced rounds on three of the resort’s top courses in Spyglass Hill, The Links at Spanish Bay and Pebble Beach Golf Links on consecutive days in mid-March while staying on-site at The Inn at Spanish Bay. Lodging, greens and cart fees, and a Friday evening cocktail reception were all included in this week to remember forever. This year marked the seventh-consecutive spring trip to the Monterey Peninsula and, for those looking to head west next year, a return in 2026 is in the works.
With so many illustrious resorts calling the Midwest home, it doesn’t require a cross-country flight to check off many of those aforementioned bucket-list trips for those living in the Chicago District. Beginning with a trip to French Lick Resort in early May, the CDGA will visit five famed Midwest-based resorts before season’s end. Among the highlights is a first-time trip up to Kohler, Wisconsin for a three day, two-night stay open to 32 CDGA members this July. The trip includes rounds on The Straits Course at Whistling Straits, home to the 2021 Ryder Cup and three PGA Championships, and each of the three courses at the Blackwolf Run property - Meadow Valleys, River and The Baths. While there, members will stay on the premises at The American Club, a five-star, five-diamond hotel.
Overnight trips to both Erin Hills and Sand Valley Resorts in Wisconsin are also on the docket for June but garnered early interest and sold out quickly.
Rounding out the offerings in 2025 are two trips with further details set to surface later this summer - a road trip to northwest Michigan’s Arcadia Bluffs, Sept. 26-28, and a four-day rendezvous to Streamsong Resort in Bowling Green, Florida.
